Based on over 25 years of practical asset management program and software implementation experiences, NEXGEN Asset Management is a web-based software developed specifically to support a comprehensive asset management program. 


We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Associate Project Manager to learn and grow with our organization.
Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant experience, a strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn. 

This person will work on a team implementing our cutting-edge asset management software solution (EAM/CMMS) for high profile clients across the globe. Regular communication with project team members, as well as clients, requires this person to be an excellent verbal and written communicator.  

This position is full-time, in person in our Sacramento, CA office and will report to the President. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As an Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Delivery Team in the successful delivery of implementation projects.
  • The Associate Project Manager will work closely with internal NEXGEN teams and client teams to plan, configure, and deliver the NEXGEN application according to client workflows.
  • Learn to maintain project plans, communication with clients, and ensure project deadlines are kept on schedule.
  • Assist in reviewing clients’ existing databases and determine the relevant data to be migrated in NEXGEN Asset Management’s software.
  • Test and validate final system setup prior to product handoff to client.
  • Participate in end-user training and support during implementation and Go-Live process.
  • Must be able and willing to travel. Possible travel requirements, up to 10>#/li###


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong technical skills - ability to learn and understand new technologies and software 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook) 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given 
  • Highly organized 


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possesses knowledge of municipal utilities and/or public works
  • Background in project management 
  • Experience with CMMS software


COMPENSATION
Salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
